ICANN has published a preliminary report on the .org re-delegation. The report suggests that ISOC should run .org in the future.

The report draws from four evaluation teams' reports:

• Gartner, Inc. Evaluation Report (technical aspects)
• Academic CIO Evaluation Report (technical aspects)
• NCDNHC Evaluation Report (usage aspects)
• ICANN General Counsel Evaluation Report (procedural aspects)

I have, so far, only had a cursory look at the NCDNHC report. While this report generally looks sound, impartial, and like a lot of work (congratulations to the NCDNHC!), the numerical material provided is inconsistent; in at least one case, this even leads to a change of ranking.
